Bill Albrecht

CEO

Bill Albrecht received his Bachelors degree in 1969 from Eastern Illinois University and went to work as a teacher and a coach in the area before moving to Colorado in 1971. After acquiring his real estate license, Bill was active in the development, marketing and construction of residential real estate until 2000 when he sold his home building company, Albrecht Homes. Bill met Rob Uehran in 1994 and the two combined their knowledge and expertise to form Spirit Hospitality, LLC. The company opened its first hotel, the Comfort Inn & Suites in Loveland, CO in 1998. Mr. Albrecht is now the CEO for Spirit Hospitality who acts as the General Partner for all of Spirit's hotels in addition to several commercial properties in the Fort Collins area.

Mr. Albrecht would attribute Spirit's team play dynamic and cohesiveness to the skill set he adapted and developed in his experience with teaching and coaching. Spirit Hospitality's Mission Statement comes as a direct reflection of these same ideals and the company continues to grow under the direct guidance and "coaching" Bill is still so passionate about.
