Chad Schneider has been the Chief Financial Officer for Spirit Hospitality since 2004. Additionally, he was named Executive Vice President in May of 2016, when the company restructured its Executive Leadership. Chad was formerly the Controller for Albrecht Homes, working closely with Spirit Hospitality's CEO William Albrecht for several years prior to the transition of companies, assisting in the development and construction of Spirit's first hotel, the Comfort Inn & Suites in Loveland. Additionally, he was active in the sale of Albrecht Homes to Ashcroft Homes, Inc after having served as the company's Controller and Regional Vice President for several years before returning to work with William Albrecht and Spirit. Since that time he had been an instrumental part of Spirit's growth and success while staying connected to the company's original culture and values.
Mr. Schneider received his Bachelor degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance in 1987 from Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. He went to work in public accounting for Arthur Andersen before moving to Fort Collins in 1992. He worked for several subsidiaries of ConAgra for a number of years prior to meeting William Albrecht in 1997.
