Staybridge Suites/Johnny's Italian Steakhouse Receives Approval for Fort Collins!

We couldn’t be more excited to be bringing Staybridge Suites and Johnnys Italian Steakhouse to Old Town Fort Collins. Thanks to the City staff, council and neighboring property owners, particularly Woodward and Odell Brewing for their time and input on this project. We are exceptionally dedicated to meeting policy objectives of seven different plans published by the community. The collaborative effort to redevelop this bleak piece of property into a vibrant hotel in addition to nearly two acres of restored habitat AND a new pedestrian connection to the Poudre Trail is unprecedented. The design teams of Studio PBA, Olsson Associates, and Russell Mills Studios has done incredible work when at times it seemed that this endeavor was unrealistic their creative minds wouldn’t stop until a solution was found. From all of us to all of you, thank you and we look forward to joining the neighborhood!

Hampton Inn & Suites - Greeley makes the Wall of Fame 1st Quarter 2017!

Our continually high performing Hampton Inn & Suites in Greeley has done it again! Making the Wall of Fame is no easy feat - this recognition is only awarded to the top 15% of all North American Hamptons proving that yet again, we have the best teams on our roster! Way to go, Team Hampton - Keep up the GREAT work!

Spirit's Hampton Inn & Suites Earns Hiltons Top Tier Recognition

The Hampton Inn & Suites-Greeley has received an 'Outstanding' in overall quality assurance and guest satisfaction, Hilton's highest ranking! Congratulations to General Manager, Jim Martinez, Assistant General Manager, Stephanie Toubeaux and their team on joining the elite top 60 of 855 nationwide Hampton hotels by meeting or exceeding each of the following categories:

Overall Score - Outstanding:
  • All main areas and sub-areas of the hotel must score at least yellow zone
  • There are not any housekeeping/cleanliness trends in the guest rooms
  • There are no more than four (4) graded deficiencies on the overall evaluation without any graded deficiency in the guest room
  • No individual room/suite "fails." (see note for explanation)
  • Total point deduction in entire evaluation does not exceed 300 points
  • Hotel has maintained 65.0% or higher Overall Guest Service Ranking and Overall Guest Room Cleanliness Ranking for last full 6 months or 6 months to date (whichever is highest)

Two of Spirit's Candlewood Suites Earn Top IHG Honors

ATLANTA (January 31, 2017) – The Candlewood Suites-Fort Collins and Candlewood Suites-Greeley have received the IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) 2017 Torchbearer Award, the brand's most prestigious award!
The Candlewood Suites-Fort Collins and Candlewood Suites-Greeley are two of 454 properties within the Americas chosen from the IHG system of more than 5,100 hotels for achieving the highest levels of excellence in all aspects of operation -- from quality to customer satisfaction. 
"It is my pleasure to award the Candlewood Suites-Fort Collins and Candlewood Suites-Greeley as two of the top-notch hotels in our industry," said Elie Maalouf, Chief Executive Officer – IHG, The Americas.  "These hotels embody the heart of our brand promise and continue to make IHG properties known and admired throughout the world, continuing our mission to deliver on great brands and 'Great Hotels Guests Love'."
A 2017 Torchbearer trophy, the IHG brand's symbol of top excellence, will be on permanent display at each hotel.

BIG congratulations to Fort Collins-GM Jason Coleman, and Greeley-GM Regan Sherwood and their teams for all the hard work put in to attain this prestigious status! Hats off to you all!

The Torchbearer Award is given to hotels that have achieved the highest levels of excellence based on the following eligibility requirements and criteria.

  • The hotel must be open 2+ years and must have opened no later than June 30, 2014 
  • The hotel must have a 12-month score to qualify
  • The hotel must not have been in License default status during the twelve month period from - July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016 
  • The hotel must have a passing score on their most recent SE (Standards Evaluation) as of June 30, 2016 and be current on their MAP (management action plan) 
  • The hotel fees must be current during the evaluation and awards process

Spirit Hospitality Announces Groundbreaking for Hilton Garden Inn at The Grove Shopping Center in Thornton

122-guest-room property will feature a public restaurant and will mark the second property in the North Denver-Thornton area for the management company

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – November 15, 2016 – Spirit Hospitality, LLC has begun construction today on Thornton’s newest hotel property. The Hilton Garden Inn, by Hilton, will be located in The Grove Shopping Center at 144th and I-25, next to the Candlewood Suites which Spirit opened in May of this year. In collaboration with architecture firm; Studio PBA, Spirit Hospitality expects to open the hotel and restaurant in early 2018. The project will feature unique contemporary design to highlight the Hilton Garden Inn amenities which guests around the globe have come to know and love and will be complimented by a dynamic food and beverage offering – Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, by Heart of America Group.

Spirit Hospitality, LLC will own and operate both the Hilton Garden Inn and Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse in conjunction although they are independent franchises/businesses. Johnny’s will have a public entrance as well as an entrance off the hotel’s lobby and the hotel will offer a fitness center, indoor pool and ample conference space to accommodate over 400 people.
